What is World of Warcraft: Forever? The new version of World of Warcraft will be launching on November 4, 2026. Yet, the game looks similar to World of Warcraft: Classic and has been referred to as Classic+. Understandably, people have been confused. I’ve been playing the WoW Forever beta. The game looks fantastic.
WoW fans have been asking for years for Blizzard Entertainment to bring back the good old days. These requests led to the company releasing the WoW Classic versions of the game. A slower and relaxing adventure which is different from the fast-paced nature of modern retail World of Warcraft. So, lets talk about the differences between World of Warcraft: Forever, World of Warcraft: Classic, and modern World of Warcraft. As there are now three distinct versions of the game, we’ll focus on World of Warcraft: Forever first.

What Is World Of Warcraft Forever
World of Warcraft: Forever was introduced during BlizzCon in September 2026, and is playable as long as you have an active subscription. Blizzard Entertainment rewound the clock to vanilla WoW. A time where traveling across Azeroth was a journey, and the journey was the game. Social interaction was crucial to quest. Every inch of Azeroth needed to be explored. WoW Forever is taking the original version of the game, adding new content, and improving on the original game’s flaws.
In World of Warcraft: Forever, there are new zones, over a 1,000 new quests, and new class and race combinations. These new class and race combinations include options like Undead Paladins and Dwarf Shamans. Forever also comes with a new race of blue-skinned elves called the Skyborne. Blizzard hinted at more new races and class combinations coming to Forever with a survey on the Battle.net launcher. New dungeons and raids are also being added with WoW Classic developer, Josh Greenfield, already teasing a mega dungeon.
Basically, WoW Forever is a fresh start for World of Warcraft. The game asks the question of what would’ve happened had the Dark Portal never opened and allowed us entry into Outland. Blizzard Entertainment is planning on expanding the original world, and branching into unfinished stories and characters in Azeroth.
The game is hosted on a mega server. Players will choose between four rule sets. The rule sets are Player vs. Environment (PvE), Player vs. Player (PvP), Role-playing (RP), and Hardcore. Fans first encountered hardcore mode in WoW Classics Season of Discovery. Dying in hardcore mode means having a permanent character death. Players can choose a different rule set to resurrect their character avatar.
Forever is giving Blizzard Entertainment and the fans a chance to begin anew. As the name implies, WoW Forever will be a version of World of Warcraft that we can rely on to stay true to the spirit of Warcraft. The level cap will stay at level 60. So, Blizzard Entertainment will introduce Horizontal Progression.
Instead of leveling to gain power and making old content obsolete, Blizzard is taking a similar approach as Old School Runescape, and are planning on adding new content all throughout the leveling experience. New dungeons, raids, and gear will remain relevant after a new patch drops. Forever is a fantastic chance for new players to jump into World of Warcraft, and for old players to rediscover Azeroth with fresh eyes.
What Is World Of Warcraft: Classic?
World of Warcraft: Classic is a recreation of the original vanilla WoW from 2004. In the Classic versions of the game, players can experience Azeroth before the Cataclysm. Over time, Classic has continued to move on and created many iterations of the game. As I previously mentioned for WoW Forever, Blizzard has introduced a hardcore mode where permanent character death is possible. To resurrect your character you have to choose a standard WoW Classic realm.
WoW Classic has also introduced Season of Discovery. During the Season of Discovery, players used a rune system to unlock gear, and play new classes like tank rogues and healer mages. Dungeons were converted into raids, and the game progressed through level caps. Season of Discovery is completed. The servers still operate, like Classic WoW, but without new content.
The WoW Classic Era servers also include the Burning Crusade Classic Anniversary Edition, and World of Warcraft: Mists of Pandaria Classic. So players have the option of choosing which version of Classic WoW they’d like to play. All versions are accessible with a current game subscription.
What Is Modern World Of Warcraft?
World of Warcraft: Midnight is the modern version of the game. The WoW fandom refers to the game as retail. But, the modern version of the game has received consistent updates since the original vanilla WoW. As a result, modern WoW includes quality of life improvements. Some of the improvements include flying and raid finder.
Over the years, the fandom has argued that the quality of life improvements have stripped away the special magic that made vanilla WoW what it was. Consequently, the modern game is unrecognizable compared to vanilla. Modern WoW focuses more on end game content like raiding. The social interaction within the game world suffered.
I admit that I left World of Warcraft years ago. The announcement of World of Warcraft: Forever brought me back. Blizzard presented Forever as a return to form. Forever is a fresh start. Modern WoW does have a place with players that prefer faster leveling, and quick travel. Hopefully, having three distinct versions of World of Warcraft will give all the fans what they need from the Warcraft intellectual property.

Kingdom Hearts 4 is coming. Thanks to the Kingdom Hearts 20th-anniversary event in Tokyo fans have exciting things in store. The second phase of the series will begin with “the lost master arc.”

Our boy Sora has a fresh new look. At the end of Kingdom Hearts III, Sora used the power of waking to save Kairi. This heroic act led to our favorite hero disappearing.
We learned in Kingdom Hearts Melody of Memory that Sora is in the fictional world of Quadratum. So his friends are searching for him. Riku has already set out on a journey to find our spiky-haired hero. Although, you could say that Sora might be running out of hair gel with his new look.
“We’re thrilled to celebrate the series’ 20th anniversary with the announcement of two new KINGDOM HEARTS titles,” said KINGDOM HEARTS series Brand Manager, Ichiro Hazama. “We’d like to thank the fans for all of their support over the years, and we can’t wait for them to experience all that’s to come for Sora.”
A live concert was performed for fans during the anniversary event. There was also a showcase of stained glass artwork. Fans were able to see series director Tetsuya Nomura on stage. Kingdom Hearts Missing-Link is set after the events of Kingdom Hearts Union X.
“Sora is an original Disney video game hero like no other, beloved by our team, and fans across the world. We’ve been honored to work with Tetsuya Nomura and his team for two decades to introduce these original stories of discovery, courage, and friendship,” said Nana Gadd, Director, of Walt Disney Games. “This glimpse into Sora’s next adventure is just the beginning – we can’t wait to show more when the time is right.”

Before we can determine if there is symbolism in Kingdom Hearts, we first have to discuss what symbolism means. Symbolism according to the Merriam-Webster dictionary, is “the use of symbols to express or represent ideas or qualities in literature, art, etc.” And, the word symbol means, “an action, object, event, etc., that expresses or represents a particular idea or quality.”
These definitions are saying that something which is considered symbolic has a cultural, religious, or important significance that the audience should understand. So the creator of the work could be using symbols to strengthen the message of their story. It’s similar to the idea of text and subtext where a choice of dialogue is literally saying one thing while communicating a figurative message at the same time.
Symbolism is subjective to each audience member. Everyone consumes a piece of artwork differently based on their own life experiences, education, and understanding. This means that a symbolic moment is always debatable because everyone has a different point of view. Most Kingdom Hearts fans will swear that the series has symbolism, but seldom will they agree on what the symbolism is or means.

What Type Of Symbolism Appears In Kingdom Hearts?

The Kingdom Hearts series displays symbolism in its music, imagery, and dialogue. Even the official artworks released by Square Enix has symbolic imagery. Among the most obvious symbols are those which represent different aspects of the series like heartless or nobodies. These are symbols created to represent those special enemies. But, for the purposes of this article, we’ll be referring to symbolism which isn’t quite so obvious.
Less blatant symbolism in the games features motifs related to the war between darkness and light. The games draw on religious symbols like doors, stained glass, and light shining through the darkness. Throughout the years, fans have mentioned seeing symbolism from Christianity, Buddism, and Taoism. For this article, we’ll focus on the Christian themes present within the games as I’m most familiar with the Christian faith. Most religions share a common idea of good versus evil. But, religious symbolism isn’t the only type observed within the series.
Kingdom Hearts is the first game in the series. So it’s the perfect game to begin our observation. The first game features an opening movie. Sora falls into the water and struggles to come up for air. Water represents purification, chaos, salvation, death, and more in the Christian faith. Kingdom Hearts games use the water to represent falling into darkness. It reminds me of the scripture Isaiah 51:10 where the Bible talks about God drying up the waters for the redeemed to pass over them safely. Characters falling in the water are a recurring theme in the Kingdom Hearts games.

What Type Of Symbolism Appears In Kingdom Hearts?

Believing in the Christian faith isn’t important to understand symbols in Kingdom Hearts. Not everyone believes in the Christian God. Science has found proof that certain biblical events did occur, but science can’t answer whether God is real. The Bible can be viewed as a historical document that has recorded important events from the ancient world. So it’s not a surprise that creators draw inspiration from a prolific book to tell stories.
The x-blade (pronounced Keyblade) is also symbolic of how the catholic church has displayed the keys to heaven. Kingdom Hearts is described as a special place deserving of protection. This means that Kingdom Hearts could represent a heavenly place. Scala ad Caelum was a world that appeared in Kingdom Hearts III. The name of the world is Latin for “Stairway to Heaven.”
Scala features islands shaped like triangles which can represent enlightenment, revelation, a higher perspective, and manifestation. In Christianity, the triangle represents the trinity of father, son, and the holy spirit. It also reminds me of the greek symbol Alpha which is used to represent how God has existed for all eternity.
Also in Kingdom Hearts, the gizmo shop looks like a cathedral on the outside. Inside of the gizmo shop is full of bright colors and sounds which reminds me of enlightenment. Doves appear on spinning wheels and levers. In many religious faiths, doves represent peace. The clock is frozen at 6:54 inside of the gizmo shop. When typing 6:54 into Google the Bible scripture John 6:54 pops up. The scripture appears to reference communion. Christians have communion on the first Sunday of each month. Communion involves eating a thin wafer and drinking grape juice to symbolize Christ’s sacrifice which saved God’s children from sin.

Darkness represents sin. Within Kingdom Hearts everyone is born with darkness in their heart. Characters like Riku, embark on dangerous journeys to fight the darkness inside of them and remain in the light. Riku ultimately decides to walk the path of dawn because light cannot exist without darkness. The darkness manifests as creatures called heartless in the game. In real life, darkness can manifest as trials and hardships.
The Christian faith believes in second chances. So despite being born in sin a person can become redeemed. In Kingdom Hearts: Birth by Sleep, Ventus got a second chance at life after his heart merged with Sora’s heart. Master Xehanort stripped the darkness from Ventus’s heart and created Vanitas. The goal was to have them fight and create the x-blade (Keyblade). Master Xehanort was going to use the x-blade to start the Keyblade war, not unlike the biblical wars in the bible.
Ventus fell into a deep slumber. He was reborn or had his “birth by sleep” after connecting his heart with Sora’s. In Kingdom Hearts, Sora is the main protagonist and has played the role of a savior many times. By Sora accepting Ventus into his heart, Ventus was allowed to sleep safely. Ventus thanked Sora for giving him a second chance in Kingdom Hearts III. This is similar to how Christians must accept Christ into their hearts to be born again. Being born again is a second chance to live life without sin and go to heaven once they die.
The heart is an organ. Our heart pumps blood through our veins keeping us alive. Spiritually the heart is more complicated and involves our emotions, fears, and desires. So having a strong heart can mean staying focused on God. Well, in the Kingdom Hearts games having a strong heart can prevent you from falling into darkness. In the first game, Sora and his friends visit a castle called Hollow Bastion. This castle has pipes running through it like veins.
Hollow Bastion is a literal representation of a heart within the game. Every pipe or vein is pumping darkness from the center of the heart. Sora reaches the heart of the castle and saves the princesses of heart from danger. In the story, Maleficient was using the Disney princesses to open the door to darkness. The princesses were referred to as “princesses of heart” because they were pure. No darkness existed within their hearts. God asks us in Proverbs 4: 23-26 to guard our hearts. We see this same request urged countless times in Kingdom Hearts. Characters are urged from the Station of Awakening to guard their hearts against darkness and stay strong.
Kingdom Hearts games have fantastic music. Each track is composed by Yoko Shimomura and various artists. Beautiful sounds and riveting tracks accompany every moment of the game perfectly. “Dearly Beloved” is the main theme. The song plays at the beginning of every Kingdom Hearts game on the title screen. Every version of the song changes to match each game. It’s a gentle song full of emotion.
The saying “dearly beloved” is an old term used at weddings. Dearly Beloved addresses the audience. Symbolically a wedding is a covenant formed by the bride and groom with the Lord. Weddings are an example of Christ’s union with the church. The term “dearly beloved” means something or someone that is loved very much. Almost as if the game is celebrating the gathering of fans who are bearing witness to the story. Scripture mentions love in various contexts. Love is usually described as deeper than a feeling. Also, a husband’s love for their wife is sacred.
The Kingdom Hearts games deal with the concept of love. Love is displayed in the games through actions and words. Characters sacrifice themselves to save another, worlds are restored, and characters are protected while waiting for their rebirth. The games focus on showcasing love in friendship. Romantic love exists within the games, but it’s not the main focus. Love is showcased by characters helping others like Christ helped the less fortunate in the bible.

So the question still remains. Is there symbolism in Kingdom Hearts? The answer depends on you. Art is inspiring because we can connect to it on a personal level. Not everyone is going to see a deeper meaning and that’s okay. What’s most important is how playing Kingdom Hearts makes you feel. If playing the games makes you happy then who cares about the symbolism.
Also, this article doesn’t mention every single symbolic moment. The Kingdom Hearts series is celebrating its 20th anniversary. There are thirteen games in the series. Certain games like Kingdom Hearts: 358/2 Days and Kingdom Hearts: Coded can’t be played on current-gen consoles. Their movies are included within the complete Kingdom Hearts collection available on Amazon.com, but they’re not the same. The Kingdom Hearts series also features Final Mixes, Remakes, movies, and mobile games. Symbolism can easily be missed with a series this big.

Kingdom Hearts 20th Anniversary Year Theories
Anniversary Event Planned For April
The official Kingdom Hearts Twitter account posted an update last week. According to them, the fandom can expect a Kingdom Hearts 20th-anniversary event on April 10, 2022. Details surrounding the event are sparse, but the Twitter account did shed some light.

Many fans have been quick to point out the symbolism. As we know, nothing in Kingdom Hearts happens by coincidence. So the fact that the anniversary event is taking place in Tokyo at one of the iconic buildings featured in the game didn’t go amiss. Also, the event is taking place thirteen days from the date the original game was released. In the Kingdom Hearts series, the numbers 7 and 13 have significance especially because they are the favorite numbers of series director Tetsuya Nomura.
What Can Fans Expect?
With no concrete details on what fans can expect all we can do is theorize. A new game announcement would be a good guess. Also, rumors of a Kingdom Hearts TV show could finally be proven true. Maybe the event could also announce several games at once? After all, Kingdom Hearts Birth by Sleep, 358/2 Days, and coded were all announced at the same time years ago.
What we can expect during the Kingdom Hearts 20th anniversary is lots of news and surprises. Tetsuya Nomura, the director of Kingdom Hearts, has mentioned the series will be moving in a new direction. So maybe the anniversary event will shed light on what exactly he means. Many have speculated that the Kingdom Hearts series is moving away from Disney and may include more original and Final Fantasy worlds.
The end of Kingdom Hearts III did feature a new world called Quadratum. And, the games also have a plotline involving the Foretellers from the age of fairy tales. So it’s not a huge stretch to assume that the Disney influence may be lessened moving forward. As a Disney fan myself, I hope that the games don’t dilute the Disney influence too much. It was my love for Disney which caused me to fall in love with the series.
But, a lesser Disney influence could also be beneficial, because Nomura wouldn’t have to go through Disney for approval on every detail. Not to mention some fans have complained for years that the Disney portions of the game detract from the main plotline. Only Kingdom Hearts and Kingdom Hearts II made an effort to weave the Disney stories into the game’s overall plot. Every game since II has watered down the Disney effect little by little.

Exciting News We’ve Gotten So Far
The Kingdom Hearts 20th anniversary has so far given us new versions of the Kingdom Hearts III opening theme song “Face my Fears”. Utada Hikaru, a Japanese-American pop star, released a remixed version of their song which was featured in Kingdom Hearts III.
They performed the song in a live session, and have also released another version recorded in the studio. Kingdom Hearts is famous for its music which includes pop songs like “Simple and Clean” and “Don’t Think Twice” which can be listened to on the Kingdom Hearts official soundtrack.

What Is Kingdom Hearts?
Yes, the final Super Smash Bros. DLC Character Is Sora. But, in case you’re not aware of who he is, Sora is the protagonist of the Kingdom Hearts franchise.
Famous video game director, Tetsuya Nomura, is the series creator. Also, the series is nearing its 20th-anniversary celebration next year. The series is a unique mix of Final Fantasy and Disney worlds and characters. Sora is a lovable character because of his upbeat and charming personality.
The series premise is that darkness is trying to destroy the world. Darkness manifest as creatures called, Heartless, and only the Keyblade’s chosen wielder can defeat them and open the door to the light. Sora is the wielder of the Kingdom Key which is a Keyblade from the light realm. Despite the convoluted telling of the story, the Kingdom Hearts games are easy to understand because of the basic theme of light vs. darkness.
Currently, the Kingdom Hearts series consists of 13 games. Every mainline title is numbered. Side games are usually given a subtitle. The Kingdom Hearts fandom waited 13 years for Kingdom Hearts III to release in 2019. So it’s no surprise that such a dedicated and loyal fandom would fight hard for Sora to be in Smash. Is The Nintendo Switch OLED Model Worth It? Current owners of the Nintendo Switch console may have a dilemma. The Nintendo Switch OLED model is releasing on October 8, 2021. The term “OLED” means organic light-emitting diode. Unlike LCD displays, an OLED display doesn’t require a backlight. So colors are richer, and blacks are pure and deep.
Now, I own a Nintendo Switch and I love the console. The idea of a console that can also become portable was a genius idea on Nintendo’s part. I’m so guilty of spending hours on my favorite Switch games. There was also a recent rumor that Nintendo was going to release a Nintendo Switch Pro with 4K graphics. Nintendo has since debunked the rumor.

Well, if you’re wondering if the Nintendo Switch OLED model is worth it, then you should ask yourself a few questions. How often do you play your Switch? And, do you primarily play your Switch on the television, or by handheld? Once you can answer those questions then your choice becomes clear.
The reason why is that the Nintendo Switch OLED is only usable while playing games in handheld mode. If you’re like me and spend most of your playtime on the television, then a Nintendo Switch OLED model isn’t worth it. But, if you enjoy taking your Switch with you on the go, then you might want to snag a Nintendo Switch OLED model.
Also, if the recent rumors about the Nintendo Switch Pro 4K are any indication, I’d wonder if Nintendo is currently working on the successor to the Switch. It’s no secret that the Nintendo Switch has halfway through its life cycle. So, although a Nintendo Switch Pro 4K isn’t true, that doesn’t mean that Nintendo doesn’t have something else up its sleeve.

So, What’s Next For Warcraftlover? Hey Warcraftlovers! I hope everyone has been doing well. The past few months have been a doozy for fans of World of Warcraft and Blizzard Entertainment. In case you’re wondering why I chose not to cover the scandalous newsit’s because of my own health problems.

Blizzard Entertainment Drama And How It’s Going To Affect Warcraftlover
World of Warcraft isn’t the game that others aspire to become any longer. I’ve discussed before my disappointments regarding racism and sexism I’ve experienced in the game. Also, I’ve experienced sexism from WoW fans who read my blog. These stories are sadly common within the WoW community.
Going forward, Warcraftlover will focus on other games. The focus will vary slightly from my sister site Realgamergirl. Recently I’ve begun playing Final Fantasy XIV and Nintendo Switch games. So I’m excited to discuss them here.
From time to time, the blog will feature a guest or sponsored posts. These posts serve as a means to introduce my readers to fantastic new games and content. Please, approach these posts with an open mind. I’ll do my best to ensure that any content not published by myself is of the highest quality possible. Warcraftlover readers deserve the best.
Welcome to Eorzea! I’m sure by now you’ve heard of Final Fantasy XIV and the shudder-inducing meme talking about how “critically acclaimed” the game is. I’ve discussed Final Fantasy XIV and my initial thoughts in a previous post.
The free trial is a great way to see if you’d enjoy the game or not. If you’ve been on the fence about trying Final Fantasy XIV give it a try. The community is way less toxic. It’s a breath of fresh air to play a game where I don’t see racial slurs or sexist commentary every five minutes.
Being able to learn every class (job) on one character is convenient. How many times have we agonized in the WoW character creation screen trying to decide what race and class combination to choose?

Not to mention I hardly see any Final Fantasy XIV player characters that look like mine. You truly feel the weight of your actions within the story. All of the main character NPC’s actually become your friends, and you’re a unique individual within the game.
I also enjoy how communicative the game director and his staff are. Naoki Yoshida is the director of Final Fantasy XIV. He even addressed us personally during the anniversary event as the Wandering Minstrel. I felt seen and valued as a player. World of Warcraft hasn’t made me feel so connected to the game or community in years.
So be sure to check out the Final Fantasy XIV free trial. Play until level 60, and continue to play as long as you like. You can’t play the recent content without buying the expansions and game time.
So, now you know what’s next for Warcraftlover. I’m excited to see where the gaming industry is going. I’ve been keeping tabs on all the major conventions.
My wish list currently includes Kingdom Hearts IV, The Legend of Zelda Breath of the Wild 2 (not the official title), and a huge content update for Animal Crossing New Horizons. Yeah…I need to get my clown makeup ready. LOL!
We’ve got the Tokyo Game Show coming soon. There might also be a Nintendo Direct this month, and Playstation recently had a showcase. And, NVIDIA had a leak that points to certain AAA games like Kingdom Hearts IV being in development but takes it with a grain of salt. We also have major games like Halo Infinite coming out on the Xbox Series X/S and are available for preorder on Amazon.com before the holiday season.

Blue Yeti X World Of Warcraft Edition Microphone Review
When I opened my Blue Yeti X World of Warcraft edition microphone I was impressed with its weight. The microphone felt expensive and it was nice to hold. Blue and gold colors adorn the microphone giving it a classy look. As a World of Warcraft fan seeing the logo on the microphone got me excited.
I couldn’t wait to try the special voices and sounds. The main issue I noticed was the lack of instructions. I figured that I needed to visit the official website to download the program for the microphone. Unless you paid attention to the box there wasn’t much in the way of instructions.
It didn’t take me long to install the program and hook up the microphone to my computer. The microphone didn’t work at first. So I had to Google what I was doing wrong. On my computer, I had to make the Blue Yeti X World of Warcraft edition my default mic. Once I changed the setting then the microphone was working.
Then I ran into another snag. The microphone made loud noises. Eventually, I figured out how to stop the sound. I had to restart my computer and everything was working fine. Installed were several different special options. There were so many that it took me a while to test them all. I started by playing with changing my voice to sound like World of Warcraft characters.
Microphone Review Continued
The first voice I tested was the Lich King. Sadly, the Lich King voice sounded nothing like the character in the game. Despite my disappointment, I continued to try the other voices. The voices that sounded the best were Blingtron and gnome. Blingtron had my brothers and me laughing.
Next, I tested the pre-installed character voices. The microphone features the voices of Thrall, Banshee Queen Sylvanas Windrunner, Lord Admiral Jaina Proudmore, and Highlord Bolvar Fordragon. Each character’s voice is available in several languages. It was certainly interesting to hear what Sylvanas sounded like in Spanish.
Besides the pre-recorded voices there were also sounds. These sounds are what you hear in the game. Examples included the sound of casting a spell or teleporting to a location with a hearthstone and more. Both the pre-installed character voices and sounds could be fun for streamers. Especially for streamers who enjoy adding sound effects to their show.

The Blue Yeti X World of Warcraft microphone is worth it. As a regular microphone, you had many options to alter your voice. You could sound warm or cold. There were also options to sound like a radio. Several slider options allowed you to change the tone of your voice. The possibilities were endless. If you’re a streamer the microphone is great to have. The Blue Yeti X World of Warcraft microphone would also make a fantastic gift.
Be sure to download the program from the Blue Microphone website. Without the program, you can’t adjust your microphone the way you want. You’d also be missing out on the special options and features. Playing with the voice-changing setting alone is a lot of fun. Blingtron was the funniest one. Your gaming set-up will look epic with this microphone. Imagine having this awesome mic beside your RGB lighting keyboard and mouse.
Don’t miss out on getting the Blue Yeti X World of Warcraft edition microphone. Any streamer or Youtuber would look great with this on camera. Not only does the microphone feel expensive, but it looks sleek and classy. The sound quality is fantastic. So you won’t need to worry about your audience hearing you.

World of Warcraft Patch 9.1 is going live on June 29. Chains of Domination will unite the four covenants. The champion of Azeroth will face the Jailer’s forces when the next chapter of Shadowlands story goes live. Players can expect tons of new content during the new patch.
Despite experiencing a content drought of epic proportions, Chains of Domination promises to include a boatload of new content. Fans have recently taken to social media to air their grievances about the long wait with no news. Even I had begun playing Final Fantasy XIV to ease the pain.
So, let’s discuss the content arriving on June 29.

Chains Of Domination
A new zone named, Korthia, is coming to the Shadowlands. The lost zone contains key secrets about the First Ones and their Attendants. Explore the “city of secrets” as we fight the Dreadlords who are working with the Jailer.
The Jailer’s interest is so great that he pulls Korthia into The Maw. Players will have the full support of all four covenants during this assault of the Dreadlords and the rest of the Jailer’s forces. Keeper’s Respite is the main questing hub. All four covenants will have their own bases within the zone. So be sure to check them out!
Korthia will include important story quests for the new raid, Sanctum of Domination. The Sanctum of Domination lies within the far reaches of Torghast. This 10-boss raid leads to an epic showdown with the Dark Lady, Sylvanas Windrunner. Korthia will also serve as our new daily quest hub.

Then, Raid Finder Wing 1 and Mythic Difficulties (The Tarragrue, The Eye of the Jailer, The Nine) begins July 13. July 27 – Raid Finder Wing 2 (Soulrender Dormazain, Remnant of Ner’zhul, and Painsmith Raznal) August 10 – Raid Finder Wing 3 (Guardian of the First Ones, Fatescribe Roh-Kalo, and Kel’Thuzad) August 24 – Raid Finder Wing 4 (Sylvanas Windrunner)
Besides the new raid being introduced in World of Warcraft patch 9.1, players can also be excited about the new Mega-Dungeon called Tazavesh, The Veiled Market. Be sure to explore the markets’ exotic wares.
Discover strange creatures in the new eight-boss Mythic difficulty mega-dungeon. Meet the mysterious brokers in this fascinating bazaar. You’ll run into dastardly assassins, an infinite pirate dragon, four-armed broker guards, and many other enemies as you chase a wayward broker through the market.
Your task is to stop the wayward broker from unleashing the might of a stolen artifact. She’s determined to realize her own designs regardless of the consequences. This Mythic-only instance will reward players with exquisite loot coveted by the broker society. The loot includes a dazzling assortment of weaponry, otherworldly pets, and a mount.
In order to access Tazavesh, the Veiled Market, you’ll complete a series of short quests. The Innkeeper, Host Ta-rela, in the Idyllia section of Oribos will set you on the right path. The quest is called “The All’ey Cat of Oribos” and will ask you to meet with a mysterious contact named Al’dalil. He will introduce you to the world of cartels, their complicated relationships, and their propensity for ingenious wordplay. Al’dalil will be your guide as you make your way through the dungeon.
World of Warcraft patch 9.1 will finally be introducing flight. Players will be able to fly within Bastion, Maldraxxus, Ardenweald, and Revendreth. You can also look forward to using ground mounts in the Maw. So transportation is about to get a lot easier in the Shadowlands.
Players can also look forward to Shadowlands Season 2 for Mythic+. There will be a new keystone affix called Tormented. Be sure to look forward to new changes in PvP item level scaling. Your gear will now scale +13 item levels in PvP combat. This change means that the baseline of these items will be reduced by 6. Blizzard Entertainment’s goal is to make crossover play between PvE and PvP more viable.
Torghast, Tower of the Damed is also receiving updates. Look forward to cosmetic armor, pets, mounts, and achievements. Chains of Domination will be adding four new levels to Torghast. This means there will now be 12 layers for each wing. Also, each layer will only have five floors now. As the prison is supposed to be ever-changing this fits with the theme.
The endless prison is also changing how it operates. Players will no longer have to contend with the Terragrue if they die. The death counter is going away completely meaning that players can die as many times as they want.
You’re also guaranteed to walk away with Soul Ash. This is because final bosses will no longer reset their health if you lose. So players can work on lowering their health at their own pace.
Each Torghast run will now include a new Empowered progress bar. The new scoring system is for players to earn points. At the end of the run, players will be rewarded with gems. These gems range from 0 to 5. You must acquire four or more gems to move on to Layer eight. Earning five gems will allow players to open the Adamant Vaults.
Players will be rewarded for their activity with Blessings and Torments. These special power buffs and debuffs can help or hurt your progress through Torghast. You should also look forward to the Box of Many Things.
This is a new perks system that allows you to collect Memories of Torghast. These memories can be turned into the Runecaver to acquire Blessings. To use the Box of Many Things be sure to pick up the orange quest from Ve’nish, acquisitions specialist, during your first playthrough of Torghast in patch 9.1.

The first voice I tested was the Lich King. Sadly, the Lich King voice sounded nothing like the character in the game. Despite my disappointment, I continued to try the other voices. The voices that sounded the best were Blingtron and gnome. Blingtron had my brothers and me laughing.
