World of Warcraft Account-Wide Essences is here. Players have asked for account-wide essences for months. Essences give player characters a boost in power. These talent-like gems are hooked into the Heart of Azeroth necklace. The grind to earn them on several characters isn’t fun though.
All players who’ve obtained rank 3 essences on their main can get them on another character. They can acquire them from a new currency called Echoes of Ny’alotha. You can find Echoes of Ny’alotha in Assaults, Horrific Visions, World bosses, raids, BFA season 4 PvP, and Mythic Keystone dungeons. In order for another character to use the essence, they must first obtain the currency. They need 500 Echoes of Ny’alotha to buy a rank 3 essence.

Where Do You Redeem The Echoes Of Ny’alotha?
World of Warcraft Account-Wide Essences is here. On the official Blizzard forums, Kaivax explained how the rank 3 essences will work. The Echoes of Ny’alotha are redeemed with MOTHER in the Chamber of Heart. When you give them to her, you can exchange them for rank 3 essences. World of Warcraft Account-Wide Essences is here, which means that all essences associated with Mechagon and Nazjatar reputations are available for any other character if they’ve earned any of the essences available from those reputations.
“Our goal with this update is to preserve the efforts that players put into unlocking a given Essence through its associated activity the first time, while offering subsequent characters far more flexibility in pursuing that goal. We’ll have additional details in a forthcoming hotfixes update 5.0k that goes out around the same time as maintenance, but we wanted to let the community know ASAP that this change is in the works.” – Kaivax
