WoW: Forever Is A Refresh
We’re so close to the official launch. The last week has been inching by so slowly because everyone is excited. For the uninitiated, World of Warcraft: Forever is the newest version of the popular MMORPG World of Warcraft. In this new version, fans will revisit vanilla WoW, but the story will unfold differently.
This alternate version continues the vanilla WoW story without opening the Dark Portal. Excitement is off the charts, and the WoW: Forever beta has smashed records. WoW: Forever is the classic-plus version many fans have asked for.
Many fans feel modern WoW lacks the social interaction and sense of community of the vanilla version. WoW: Forever brings that community back. Even during the beta, fans applied buffs to other players, grouped up to enter caves, and relaxed together around a campfire.
If you’re new to World of Warcraft, then WoW: Forever is a great place to begin. Everyone starts at the beginning. Forever has new and old zones, so everyone can adventure around Azeroth and discover new frontiers together. Blizzard has added over 1,000 new quests. The level cap will remain at 60.

WoW: Forever Is A Refresh Continued

Instead of end game being the goal, the leveling journey is the main focus. Forever will use horizontal progression. This design approach expands player choices, tools, and experiences without raising the player’s level or making old gear and content obsolete.
The new design approach is exciting. If you’ve been wondering whether WoW: Forever is worth playing, give it a try. As long as you have an active WoW subscription, you can play Forever. Especially if you’re burnt out on modern WoW and some of its questionable story and design choices.
Even if you prefer WoW: Classic, you might enjoy Forever’s classic gameplay, but it offers minimal quality-of-life improvements. Forever also has updated graphics. Water actually looks wet, and weather effects like rain and lightning really shine. WoW: Forever will launch with nine new dungeons. Make sure to download any new add-ons for WoW: Forever before launch.
