    EDIT: As of August 12, 2019, my Twitch stream is on a hiatus. You may see me streaming on occasion if I’m recording something, but at the moment I’m trying to focus on other projects. Thank you for understanding!

    Hey guys! I wanted to let you know I’m changing the time I’ll be streaming on Twitch. Instead of 6 PM – 8 PM every Friday, I’ll be steaming from Noon – 2 PM PST every Friday afternoon.

    Also, I wanted to let you guys know why my streams are so quiet. My computer is old. It’s a challenge for my computer to play the game and stream it too. Which is why I can only play between two – three hours.

    I also don’t have a headset. So, I’m unable to speak in chat or during my stream. Hopefully, I’ll be able to upgrade eventually, and get a newer and nicer computer. Maybe, I’ll be able to get a headset too.

    Thank you,

    World of Warcraft Latest Patch 8.2

    alt="affiliate disclosure with I"/>

    Hi guys! I’m here with a post about my World of Warcraft latest patch impressions. Patch 8.2 Rise of Azshara dropped yesterday, June 25, 2019.  I was so excited to see what came next in the story and to explore.

    In this post, I’ll give you my World of Warcraft latest patch opinions thus far with minimal spoilers. I’ve only played the Alliance side, but I’ll be experiencing the Horde side of the story soon.

    Rise of Azshara is WoW’s latest patch. We’ve eagerly awaited for this patch since it was announced at the end of last year. Blizzard has listened to its fanbase and has tried to implement some necessary changes into the game.

    So, let’s get into my World of Warcraft latest patch impressions.

    Sinking into Nazjatar

    alt="Alzéanz in Nazjatar"/>

    The patch had a strong opening.

    When I logged into the game, I received the usual quest pop-up letting me know about the new content. I accepted the quest to Nazjatar and went to speak with Genn Greymane.

    Soon, we were on a ship, chasing the Horde through the treacherous waters. Then a large hole opened in the ocean and sucked the Horde and Alliance in with it.

    I will say the opening made an impact. It was super cool to be with the heroes, as I the player, watched Queen Azshara part the sea. I was excited to run around the zone, and it didn’t disappoint for the first couple of hours.

    Blizzard really made me feel as if I’d been sunk to the bottom of the ocean. There was no way out, and it was exciting and frightening at the same time.

    What took me out of the immersion though, was when Jaina opened a portal to Boralus for my hunter. It made me wonder for a second why didn’t Jaina just teleport all of us out of there. But, then I remembered Jaina said she opened the portal in secret so Queen Azshara wouldn’t detect it.

    I’m guessing taking a whole army of Alliance troops through a secret portal probably would raise red flags. Other than that, the zone is gorgeous to look out, the music is enchanting to listen too, and the storyline is exciting.

    But, I do have one complaint. More on that in a bit.

    Tinkering with Mechagon Island

    alt="mechagon island King Mechagon's forces"/>

    After the impressive opening for Nazjatar, I was really excited to see Mechagon. I wanted to know more about this ancient gnomish city. King Mechagon had gone missing many years ago. No one alive today had seen the ancient gnomish king or his people.

    The really cool part of the opening was flying to Mechagon. I won’t give too much away, but I enjoyed every minute of it. My hunter also met a gnome and goblin who are dating and they were the cutest things.

    Horde and Alliance forces arrived on the island at the same time, but there wasn’t time for a fight, we had to help Prince Erazmin stop King Mechagon.

    Robotic gnomes roamed the island, and spare parts were scattered everywhere. The island was awesome. I was itching to get my hands onto spare parts and start building.

    I did have one major gripe though. More on that in a second.

    World of Warcraft Latest Patch: The Heart of Azeroth

    alt="heart of azeroth"/>

    Remember I mentioned Jaina created a portal almost as soon as we arrived? Well, it had to do with our Heart of Azeroth. I wasn’t too excited about the necklace, but I had to go check it out to continue.

    Magni Bronzebeared sent us on a quest to grant our Heart of Azeroth new abilities. So, the journey took us to Highmountain. It was thrilling to see so many players in the game. The lag was annoying, but not so much that I couldn’t play.

    When I returned to Magni with the item he requested, our upgrade was applied. The new Heart Forge reminds me of the artifact weapons in Legion and how we could upgrade them.

    My eyes did light up when I saw that because I loved Legion. So, I’m hoping Blizzard won’t let me down with the Heart of Azeroth upgrades. We have new abilities to choose from now. It’ll be interesting to see how this affects our gameplay moving forward.

    I’m just relieved that Blizzard actually listened to their player base. World of Warcraft Game Director, Ion Hazzikostas, admitted in the WoW Developer Insights video last week, that Blizzard has messed up in the game, and are trying to figure out where to make changes.

    I can tell this patch has already implemented a few interesting ones

    Changes, Gripes, and Everything nice

    alt="flying to mechagon"/>

    We’re moving along swimmingly during this World of Warcraft latest patch post. So, let’s move on to my gripes.

    Nazjatar and Mechagon used too many familiar assets. I know it saves Blizzard time and money, but there were times I felt as if I was on Kul Tiras instead of Mechagon.

    On Nazjatar, I recognized temples from Azsuna from the Broken Isles. Both zones still included artistic elements unique to them, I just wish Blizzard had camouflaged familiar elements better.

    As I’ve mentioned before, I didn’t like how the game took me out of Nazjatar so quickly. I was completely enthralled in the story and felt as if I’d been sunk to the bottom of the ocean with no way out. If Blizzard had made me work a little longer to unlock the portal, maybe it wouldn’t have killed the immersion for me.

    Let’s Talk about the Changes

    alt="magni bronzebeard and the heart of azeroth"/>

    I loved being able to choose a quest reward. It sounds strange because I’m sure when I quested in Kul Tiras and Zuldazar I picked armor, but there was something about choosing my armor which felt right to me. I remember starting the game during Wrath and picking the armor which would give me the most gold if I couldn’t use it.

    Enemies hit harder across the game. At first, I thought it was only in Nazjatar and Mechagon, but when I traveled to Drustvar to turn in a quest, I noticed my pet still wasn’t holding enough aggro.

    I actually had to eat yesterday! You read that right, my hunter actually had to eat to regain his health. That’s how hard enemies were hitting in Nazjatar and Mechagon. After playing the World of Warcraft Classic beta last week, this is a welcome change.

    Personally, I don’t need to die every five feet, but I do want the enemies to provide a challenge. Thank you, Blizzard, for listening to that.

    My hunter also worked on his Leatherworking yesterday. I was happy to see new patterns and recipes to learn. There’s also a new type of leather to a farm called Dredged Leather. I’m looking forward to leveling up my Leatherworking and Skinning.

    There were also new cooking recipes I’m interested in learning. As you know, I’ve been reviewing World of Warcraft: The Official Cookbook so I’m looking forward to cooking new food in-game.

    Everything Nice: Overall Impression of World of Warcraft Latest Patch

    alt="queen azshara in nazjatar about to drown us"/>

    Rise of Azshara is awesome. It has its flaws, but I’m hopeful this patch is a step in the right direction. Blizzard is listening to its player base, so I feel we’re off to a good start.

    I’m hoping the next expansion (patch 9.0?) will bring back the difficulty, social interaction, and story immersion. I’ll be playing Classic WoW over the summer, so I don’t want to play Classic 3.0 for the next expansion, because I want to play Retail to see what happens next.

    The WoW community has also expressed concerns over the state of PvP in the game. Patch 8.2 places us in season 3 of PvP. As I don’t PvP often, I don’t have much to say on the topic. But, if PvP is as broken as the rest of the game, then I hope whatever changes are placed into this latest patch, will improve the PvP aspect of the game.

    Let me know in the comments how you feel about the World of Warcraft latest patch. Are you happy with Nazjatar and Mechagon? What about the other changes and addon’s I didn’t discuss, such as new pets, and water walking for mounts? Let me know your thoughts down in the comments.

    EDIT: As of August 12, 2019, my Twitch stream is on a hiatus. You may see me streaming on occasion if I’m recording something, but at the moment I’m trying to focus on other projects. Thank you for understanding!

    Hey guys! I wanted to post my stream with my hunter Delyshia. I introduced you guys to her last week in a previous post. She’s finally caught up with patch 8.1 Tides of Vengeance. Now, she’s ready to take on Queen Azshara in Nazjatar. Patch 8.2 Rise of Azshara drops tomorrow, June 25th. I’m so excited!

    Queen Azshara is Waiting

    I’ve been waiting since Warcraft III to check out Nazjatar. I’ll be sure to do a WoW Twitch Stream tomorrow, June 25, 2019. Exploration and questing is my jam. Blizzard is giving me a new zone to sink my teeth into and I can’t wait to discover it’s secrets.

    Nazjatar is Queen Azshara’s realm. She was once queen of the Night Elves ten thousand years ago. The Highborne were the highest ranking members of Night Elven society and they served Queen Azshara without question. These Highborne elves became addicited to magic, and they used the Well of Eternity to fuel their power.

    It wasn’t long before the selfishness and greed of the Highborne gained the attention of the Burning Legion. Soon, the Highborne were worshiping Sargeras, a Dark Titan. The Highborne opened portals allowing the Legion to enter Azeroth. This began the War of the Ancients.

    Malfurion Stormrage, led the Night Elves to a hard won victory.  He collapsed the Well of Eternity, causing the Great Sundering, and defeated Queen Azshara, which condemned her and the Highborne to the sea, and turned them into Naga.

    Queen Azshara and Lady Vashj founded a new land beneath the Great Sea. Nazjatar is located where Zin’Azshari and the Well of Eternity once stood. And, while your exploring Zin’Azshari don’t forget to sip on some Kungaloosh from your JINX World of Warcraft Alliance Ceramic Coffee Mug, 11 ounces available on Amazon.com.

    WoW Twitch Stream: Rise of Azshara

    Tomorrow, June 25, 2019, I’ll be hosting a WoW Twitch Stream for the new patch. I’ll be streaming at 12:00 noon PST. Come and check it out! We can descend into Nazjatar together and take out Queen Azshara once and for all.

    Are you looking forward to visiting Nazjatar? What are you excited to see in patch 8.2? Besides Nazjatar, we’re also vising a new zone called Mechagon. We’ll be continuing the story line in the War Campaign, and we’ll have new pets and mounts to collect. Let me know what you’re most excited to see down in the comments.

  • WoW Classic Sharding

    WoW Classic Sharding

    alt="affiliate disclosure with I"/>

    EDIT: WoW Classic Layering update on October 3, 2019. It’ll be turned off before World Bosses are introduced.

    EDIT: During the WoW Classic AMA on August 20, 2019, the WoW Classic Developers explained sharding and layering in detail. I thought for a long time that sharding and layering were the same things. They are similar but not quite the same.

    Hey guys! I wanted to talk about WoW Classic Sharding today. Sharding reminds me of a cinnamon roll. Each of us is on the same Cinnamon roll (the same server) but we may not be standing on the same layer. Depending on how much glaze is on a layer will determine which layer we’re ‘sharded’ or sent too.

    Basically, sharding is a way for Blizzard to control the population in a server or a zone. WoW Classic Sharding is a huge deal because sharding didn’t exist in Vanilla WoW. It not only affects how easily you can quest mobs, or farm nodes, it affects social interaction within the game. Sharding is a controversial topic within the WoW community.

    My brothers and I participated in the WoW Classic Beta Stress test. I’m going to tell you right now that the sharding was bad. Kaivax, a community leader on the Blizzard forums, said we wouldn’t know which server had which population rules in the test.

    alt="level up your wow classic experience pin"/>

    Where Did Everybody Go?

    alt="beta test before wow classic sharding realm 3 dun morogh"/>

    I apologize for not having my brothers (they’re twins) take a screenshot. It didn’t cross my mind then. I also didn’t get as many screenshots reflecting the population difference on the realms. But, I’ll do my best to explain what we saw at various times in the game.

    So, on the first day of the beta test (June 19th), I logged in with brother number one. We created Tauren first on a random realm. Blizzard kicked everyone off within fifteen minutes. When we logged back in, only two realms were available to play, realms 15 and 3.

    We chose realm 3 and created dwarfs. There was no sharding when we first logged in. Everyone looked like ants as they ran around. It was exciting to watch. We accepted our first quest to kill wolves and joined the fray of players. There were so many people the mobs weren’t re-spawning.

    Well, Blizzard fixed that issue, because, within ten minutes of us creating our toons, they kicked everyone out of the game. We logged back in within five minutes.

    At first, things didn’t look much different. But, Blizzard forced everyone to log off at least three more times. By the end of the third hour, things had changed significantly. In fact, it had changed so much, I questioned where everyone had gone.

    That’s because Blizzard had turned on the WoW Classic Sharding.

    Alone in a Vast World

    alt="wow classic sharding in dun morogh"/>

    My brother and I kept questing. It was hard to ignore that the starter area felt emptier each time Blizzard reloaded the game. When were first started playing, we had grouped up with random players and said hello to people.

    Once the WoW Classic Sharding was implemented, it changed.

    Our group disbanded because people had to eat dinner. Afterward, it was more difficult to group up with new people. I felt as if I was playing retail. Players weren’t interacting as much. We stayed in our own corners because there were less of us, there wasn’t as much need to form a group to kill mobs.

    My brother and I still had fun though. We eventually left our starter area and explored Dun Morogh before logging off in Ironforge, which felt like a dead town by the way.

    Ironforge was weird because the game was telling me it was populated. I typed in /who into chat and the game showed me the city had more than 50 people. On both days of the stress test, that proved not to be true on realm 3.

    WoW Classic Sharding: Are we Playing the Same Game?

    alt="wow classic sharding in duskwood"/>

    On the second day (June 20th), I played the beta stress test with brother number 2. We created gnomes. But, we also checked out all the servers on horde and alliance. More on that in a bit.

    So, in realm 3, we created gnome mages. We logged in and the starter area looked dead. The WoW Classic Sharding was going strong. Now on the realm listing, realm 3 and realm 15 were listed as being full. Realm 3 felt dead not full. The mobs roamed in abundance. We ran into a player maybe once every 30 minutes.

    I sent Blizzard a message to let them know. Kaivax did say if you felt alone in a zone to let them know, so I did.

    We played our toons for a few hours. Although it was just us in a vast world, we were having a blast. We eventually decided to be nosy and check out the other realms. So, we hopped over to realm 2, which was a medium population server and created orcs.

    The difference was like night and day. Although realm 2 was a medium server and not a high populated server, it felt high because there didn’t appear to be any sharding. Players ran around like ants.

    We ran from the starter zone and into Durotar. The area was full of people, a stark contrast to the barren, snowy wasteland in Dun Morogh. What’s weird is that World chat, Trade chat, and General chat was still connected on every realm we visited.

    So even if a realm was heavily sharded, we knew thousands of players were on the realm because they were talking. Many players asked in the chats several times, “Where is everybody? I know you guys are there.”

    My brother and I logged into each and every server. We created horde and alliance toons. If the server was a medium population realm, there wasn’t any sharding, if the server was a high population realm, it was heavily sharded.

    Take a closer look at World of Warcraft Gloss Matte Cup – For the Horde available on Amazon.com.

    A Strange Case of Deja Vu

    We eventually logged into realm 15 another high population server. I created a human paladin and my brother created a human warrior. We logged in at the same time. But when the opening cinematic was complete, we stood in the exact same spot but weren’t seeing the same thing.

    It was so weird. It was like a strange case of deja vu. It’s like we were watching a similar movie but with different characters. We were facing the Northshire Abby, but I saw a warrior run out, and he saw a priest. That’s not all that was different. We ran to Goldshire, and not once did we see each other.

    We stood in the exact same spot in the street. There were duels going on in Goldshire. But, we weren’t watching the same duel. It was exciting but lonely. If we’d been playing on two different servers it would’ve made perfect sense. The problem is we were both on realm 15. We’d been sharded to a different layer of it.

    Stormwind also had sharding (as did Orgrimmar) and we were unable to see each other. We shared the same chats though. I could see all the same trolls talking in his trade chat.

    What gives Blizzard?

    Why Sharding Doesn’t work in Classic

    alt="wow classic sharding flight path"/>

    In retail, I’ve gotten used to sharding and cross-realm (seeing players from other servers as I play in the game world). I’d even say Blizzard has perfected it in retail to a point where it doesn’t bother me. I see players interact when it matters in retail. It’s not like I feel alone and I always see other players.

    But, I don’t need to explain to you that retail and classic are two different animals.

    Vanilla WoW (Classic) came out fifteen years ago. A time when gaming was different then it is now. From what I remember, most games back then were harder to play and took longer to finish. However, you felt more accomplished once you completed your goal.

    The gaming industry isn’t what it used to be. There’s more of a focus on graphics, casual players, and instant gratification. Retail WoW is great for the current gaming industry, Vanilla WoW (Classic) was great for the gaming industry of fifteen years ago.

    WoW Classic Sharding won’t work in Classic because it wasn’t meant to be there. It undermines what Classic is supposed to be. I remember when I began playing WoW in Wrath of the Lich King, sharding wasn’t a thing yet (if I’m mistaken let me know in the comments).

    I made some amazing friends in Wrath because sharding didn’t prevent me from meeting them. Although I don’t speak to these friends today, I treasure the memories. And, those gaming buddies were good friends for many years before they stopped playing WoW and moved on.

    Sharding robs the players of the true Vanilla WoW experience. I understand Blizzard has to consider servers crashing and overcrowding, but there must be a middle ground somewhere. There must be a way to provide players with accessibility and convenience, without sacrificing the authentic Classic experience.

    WoW Classic Sharding: It’s Coming

    alt="wow classic sharding in duskwood it's coming'/>

    We need to be prepared for sharding in Classic. I’m not sure how it will affect the game overall, but it’s a high chance it’s going to be there. Maybe the good outweighs the bad, and Blizzard actually knows what’s best in the scenario.

    Let me know what you think in the comments. Do you want WoW Classic Sharding? Why or Why not?

  • Rise of Azshara Release Date!

    Rise of Azshara Release Date!

    alt="affiliate disclosure with I"/>

    Hey guys! The Rise of Azshara release date is announced! Patch 8.2 will drop June 25, 2019.

    It’s hitting us a week before Final Fantasy XIV drops their next expansion Shadowbringers. Now, Blizzard has always claimed they don’t compete with other MMO’s for our attention.

    Blizzard shouldn’t sweat it though. I mean, it’s not like Final Fantasy XIV has 16 million subscribers…yikes!

    So, what can we expect on the Rise of Azshara release date? Let’s go through a quick rundown of what to expect in patch 8.2. Patch 8.2 will include upgrades to our Heart of Azeroth, two new outdoor zones, a new raid, and flying. The patch includes mount equipment slots, Gnome, and Tauren Heritage Armor, and Stratholme battle pet dungeons.

    The War Campaign continues the story. There are new pets, mounts, toys, and new transmogs and collectibles. All professions will have new and upgraded items. So, let’s get into more detail.

    Rise of Azshara Release Date: Nazjatar

    We’re finally going to Nazjatar. Queen Azshara resides in her watery domain. She’s parted the seas and is waiting for us to arrive. I wonder what kind of underwater horrors wait for us.

    What’s awesome about this zone is Blizzard won’t have us swimming underwater. They learned their lesson from Vashji’r in Cataclysm. I’ve never liked Vashj’ir. Underwater mechanics are awkward to me. I only quested down there long enough to tame Ghostcrawler for Alzéanz.

    Anyway, Nazjatar isn’t anything like Vashj’ir, in fact, Nazjatar is like the Timeless Isle. On the Timeless Isle, there were mini-events and rare spawns. There are several storylines all over Nazjatar. Each storyline will culminate into the final showdown with Queen Azshara herself in the raid Azshara’s Eternal Palace.

    Each rare will have an Azshara themed buff. Nazjatar has five subzones.  The zone will have an emissary cache.

    New rewards in the zone include a seahorse mount and a crab mount which walks sideways. If you’re into battle pets, you can also get a baby naga pet.

    Nazjatar introduces the Benthic Gearing System. The gearing system allows players to upgrade their open-world armor to Heroic Palace of Azshara item level.

    The Rusted Vault: Mechagon

    The second new zone won’t be available on the Rise of Azshara release date. The zone is called Mechagon. This zone will drop a few weeks after the patch releases. Here we’ll find the Mechagnomes who are ruled by King Mechagon. The Mechagnomes have robotic body parts and the more they have, the more significant they are.

    We’ll access this new zone in Tiragrade Sound in the Rusted Vault. The area contains portal players will travel through. Mechagon is smaller than Nazjatar.

    Mechagon is old school. It reminds me of Vanilla. You’ll have to find quests. Your quests won’t be available to view on your map.

    Hunters will be getting a new pet to tame here. We can tame tidal guardians. If you’re into mount collecting, you can obtain a Mechano-wheel mount and a crab mount, and a Snapdragon mount. You can collect a customizable robot pet.

    There’s a new pseudo-profession called Junkyard Tinkering. Players can gather different types of crafting materials and blueprints for Pascal – K1N6. You can unlock goodies like pets, toys, etc. and earn the achievement Junkyard Architect.

    You’ll have to grind in Mechagon. Rares will have long spawn timers. If you run out of stuff to do, just kill mobs and farm.

    Rise of Azshara Release Date: Azshara’s Eternal Palace

    Azshara’s Eternal Palace is the new raid. It’s dropping with Mechagon a few weeks after the Rise of Azshara release date. There will be a boss who is completely underwater. Druids are at an advantage thanks to their aquatic form.

    According to WoW Head, there will be eight bosses in total in the raid: The bosses include:

    • Abyssal Commander Sivara
    • Underwater Monstrosity
    • Rage of Azshara
    • Orgozoa
    • Lady Priscilla Ashavane (as a water monster)
    • The Queen’s Court
    • Za’qul, Hearld of N’Zoth
    • Queen Azshara.

    Mechadungeon: Operation: Mechagon

    Mechagon will be a Mythic+ the only dungeon split into two Heroic and Mythic+ difficulty modes. The dungeon will be close to Karazhan in size. We must stop King Mechagon. He wants to turn anything flesh into robots.

    There is a secret hard mode version of the fourth boss. The boss is HK-8 Aerial Oppression Unit. To activate the boss, you must defeat the previous three bosses in a specific order.

    Rise of Azshara Release Date: Queen Azshara is Waiting

    It felt like we were never getting a Rise of Azshara release date. I’m glad we know now.

    I’m excited to continue the War Campaign and explore new zones. Let me know in the comments what you’re looking forward to in patch 8.2.

    Hello guys! You’ve already been introduced to my main WoW hunter Alzéanz.

    Alzéanz was the first and only toon I’ve raided with. As you can tell, I’ve created treasured memories with friends. Eleven years is a long time to spend with a character. I hope the rumored level squish doesn’t take all of that away.

    Someday, I’d love to have artwork created for Alzéanz. But, enough about Alz! This post is about Delyshia.

    Delyshia is my Goblin hunter. Although I’ve never raided with her, I did make friends on Horde side with her. My Goblin hunter is my baby too. So, it’s time for you to meet Delyshia.

    Want to show your pride For the Horde? Then, please feel free to check out this World of Warcraft Horde PvP Vinyl Sticker available on Amazon.com.

    WoW Hunter: For the Horde!

    World of Warcraft fascinated me as a child. The storyline and lore are exciting to me. When I played Warcraft III as a kid, I was amazed by the different races and their heroes.

    One of my favorite characters from Warcraft III was Thrall. The Warchief commanded my attention. He led the Orcs with wisdom and strength despite his youth. I knew once I was able to play World of Warcraft I had to find out more about Thrall.

    But, I didn’t like the looks of the Horde races. I created a Tauren and played that toon with my godmother for a while, but we never leveled out of the Barrens.

    I liked the Tauren. Their homeland Mulgore was gorgeous, and they seemed so wise. I liked Cairne Bloodhoof in Warcraft III and was intrigued to play a Tauren. But, the Tauren moved slow. It drove me nuts while playing.

    I was saddened I didn’t find a Horde race I connected with. The World of Warcraft story can only be truly experienced when you play both sides. Well, Blizzard answered my prayers when they allowed Goblins to be playable in Cataclysm.

    Goblins are hilarious.

    Their leader, Trade Prince Gallywix, is a money-hungry tycoon.  He cracks me up every time he’s on-screen. Goblins have pin-up calender’s in their settlements. When I discovered that little gem I laughed. Goblins make up for their faults by having a personality I find amusing.

    Time is Money Friend: A new WoW Hunter is Born!

    When I created Delyshia it was a late night. I was curious about the Goblin starter zone, Isle of Kezan. I was cracking up when I drove her car all over the place.

    Eventually, I created a Goblin shaman. I already had a Draenei shaman on the Alliance, so I knew the class was fun to play.

    Throughout the years, I’d gotten busy with college life. So, most of the time I only played Alzéanz because I only had time to devote to one toon. I had to level him up, gear him, and learn to play him in each expansion when Blizzard would make changes.

    By Warlords of Draenor, Delyshia was getting dusty in my roster. I decided to use a character boost on her toon in Warlords and in Legion. I enjoyed playing Legion so much, I leveled her to 110 without any trouble. And I’ve been so pissed with Sylvanas, I’ve managed to level Delyshia to 120 just so I could betray the Warchief. I hope there are interesting consequences for that quest choice.

    Treasure Hunting for Pets

    Goblins may be all about their money, but Delyshia is all about her pets. I don’t hunt as many rares on her as I do on Alzéanz, but she does have a few babies I love. I’ll post a few screenshots.

    Let me know what you think of her digital fur-babies!

    alt="wow hunter Delyshia and her pet belle"/>

    This is Belle. She’s been with Delyshia the longest. I enjoyed having this pet on Alzéanz so much I had to get it for Delyshia too. You can find this spirit beast in Mount Hyjal. It was added to the game during the Cataclysm expansion.

    alt="wow hunter Delyshia and her pet Ven"/>

    Now, this griffin is called Ven. I named him after Ventus from Kingdom Hearts (I’m a huge Kingdom Hearts fan by the way). The name was fitting because it made me think of the wind and griffin’s can fly.

    alt="wow hunter Delyshia with her pet Hart"/>

    This beauty is Hart. I use the raptor with Alz the most. The rich blue color stands out so nicely. The raptor is pure eye-candy.

    What’s Next: Insurance?

    alt="twitch streaming on friday"/>

    Never trust a Goblin. They’re as bad as pirates, and we know not to trust them either. What I can ensure, is that I stream on twitch every Friday, and I will be playing Delyshia on Twitch some Friday’s nights.

    Most of the time I’ll be playing Alzéanz. There may be a few times I’m leveling an alt with my brothers. But, now if you see me playing a goblin you won’t be confused.

    I have three goblin toons which include my hunter, a Goblin shaman, and a Goblin Death Knight.

    Well Met: Delyshia

    Well met: Delyshia! It’s a pleasure to meet you.

    I hope you enjoyed meeting my Goblin hunter. I certainly enjoyed writing this post. I’ll try to write more for all my toons. I have backstories for many of my characters. So, I’ll definitely be adding to Alzéanz page so keep a lookout!

    Do you play Horde or Alliance? Let us know in the comments. Tell me which one of your characters is your favorite and why.

  • Level Squish? Does World of Warcraft have one Coming?

    Level Squish? Does World of Warcraft have one Coming?

    alt="affiliate disclosure with I"/>

    Hello! Welcome to my Hearth! In today’s news, we’re talking about a level squish. Apparently, Blizzard sent out a survey to fans. One of the survey questions asked the WoW fandom if they knew a level squish was coming. As you can tell this was news to the fandom as we’ve had no official announcement. The survey was assuming we’d all heard.

    Last July in an interview, WoW game director, Ion Hazzikostas mentioned the level squish but didn’t confirm it. This survey shows Blizzard has no idea what’s going on between the different departments within their company.

    Either way, the fandom has had mixed reactions in online communities like Reddit. Some people were concerned about Blizzard being able to pull this off.

    I will admit, I’m concerned as well.

    What is a level squish?

    alt="level squish survey sent out to fans"/>

    A level squish is a reduction of the current level cap which is level 120. For Blizzard, this would mean they don’t need to come up with as many abilities per level.

    The players could potentially benefit by feeling as if their characters are stronger. Battle for Azeroth drew criticism, many players felt as if their characters had gotten weaker. Warlords of Draenor was the last time our characters received a new talent, and as a result, there is no denying the game is broken in its current state. I’m hoping patch 8.2 Rise of Azshara will address our concerns and help Battle for Azeroth shine.

    Is a level squish a good idea?

    alt="Alzéanz taking a photo before the level squish"/>

    Is a level squish a good idea? Well, it depends on if Blizzard can pull it off. We as players will feel powerful, the game won’t be as tedious to level for new players, and a feeling of accomplishment can return.

    Many fans have expressed concerns about the current WoW development team. A level squish is a technical challenge and is more than dialing back levels. The level squish would require a complete revamp of old content.

    Mobs from previous expansions will need to be re-scaled for the level squish. Blizzard has trouble scaling mobs and armor already. I’m concerned if they can do this justice.

    I’ve played WoW for eleven years. As a result, I’m concerned that a level squish could make me feel like my hard work was for nothing.

    Check out the LinkStart Horde Alliance Badge Banner Flag Orc Emblem Poster (Red) from Amazon.com.

    Could the level squish appear in the next expansion?

    alt="Alzéanz taking a photo before the level squish"/>

    I suspect a large technical undertaking like a level squish would be in a new expansion. Take the Blizzard survey with a grain of salt for now. If it is true, expect to see an announcement at Blizzcon 2019. For now, I won’t worry too much about it.

    Let me know in the comments below how you feel about the level squish. Do you feel it’s a good idea? Why or why not? Will it breathe new life into the questing experience?

    Is Wealthy Affiliate a Scam?

    alt="affiliate disclosure with I"/>

    Hi! It’s Spyells. I’m hitting you guys with a new post about something near and dear to my heart. Is Wealthy Affiliate a Scam? The short answer is no. It’s a program which has helped me to accomplish my dream. What is my dream you may ask? My childhood dream was to become a writer. I had no idea how I was going to do it, but I knew I was going to try.

    You may wonder how can Wealthy Affiliate help you, but the possibilities are endless if you have an open mind. If you’re interested in having more free time to do what you love, than affiliate marketing is the career for you. Especially if you’re someone who has a lot of patience, and is a hard worker.

    Is Wealthy Affiliate a Scam? I’m sure you’ve been told writing doesn’t make money. What I’m going to tell you is that writing is in everything we do. Someone must write the television shows, movies, and video games we all play and watch. Businesses, churches, and hospitals need people to write instruction manuals and pamphlets.

    Making money from your writing is indeed possible. All the naysayers who say it isn’t, have a narrow-minded view on what success actually is.

    I make money from selling novels, writing my blogs, and advertising. But, how did I learn how to do that? Even in college, none of my classes taught me this!

    Is Wealthy Affiliate a Scam?

    alt="wealthy affiliate lets me enjoy the virtual view"/>

    I’ve been asked this question so many times. Is Wealthy Affiliate a scam? People don’t believe you can earn a living from home. But, working a soulless office job isn’t the only path to success.

    True success is finding your passion and pursuing it relentlessly, once you find your passion you’ll be able to do anything. Wealthy Affiliate has given me the chance to follow my dreams. when I signed up the community was welcoming. Everyone was focused on helping each other succeed.

    Replicating your success is the key. Once you find out what works in business, keep doing the same thing to achieve the same results.

    Through SEO techniques and social media engagement, your business can take off within a few months. It’s crucial you don’t give up within the first six months to a year. There is no timeline for success.

    A good idea is to promote products you’d like to buy. You’ll feel better about linking to them if it’s interesting to you. It’s important you learn your audience as well so that you can recommend them the right products.

    I’m asked all the time about my blogging and how I make revenue. So, now when you’re asked Is Wealthy Affiliate a Scam? you’ll know the answer is no.

    Is Writing a blog a Side Hustle?

Your goal may include having extra money for entertainment such as video games, or maybe you’re saving for retirement. Whatever your goals are is what will propel you to keep going?

    You can succeed in any niche as long as you help others. Everyone is always searching for a solution to their problems, and certain niches such as healthcare will never go out of business because of this.

    The idea of having a blog is so you can have more free time to follow your dreams. There is a good deal of food and travel bloggers today because the idea is so fun and appealing. Most people love food and to travel, so writing a blog in one of those niches helps.

    Twitch Livestream: Get Ready for Spyells!

    alt="affiliate disclosure with I"/>

    EDIT: As of August 12, 2019, my Twitch stream is on a hiatus. You may see me streaming on occasion if I’m recording something, but at the moment I’m trying to focus on other projects. Thank you for understanding!

    Hello! I wanted to post my first World of Warcraft twitch live stream. I’m excited to share my journey through Azeroth with all of you.

    When I first played World of Warcraft during Wrath of the Lich King, I never imagined that I would be streaming it someday.

    I don’t believe twitch livestreams were a thing back then. Now I can’t imagine the world of gaming without it.

    Spyells First Twitch Livestream May 3, 2019

    Wading Through the Treacherous Wilds

    I didn’t realize players streamed video games until a few years ago. At first, I thought it was interesting that people would watch someone plays, but then I discovered twitch, and I realized watching a game was fun.

    Twitch has given players a way to connect in ways we hadn’t before. We talk in the chat rooms, the streamers communicate to us, and major video game media pay attention to what goes on in the world of streaming. Video game developers are aware of the power the twitch streamers possess and offer them early access to games so they can stream the content.

    This has led to many frustrated fans in the gaming community who feel there is a streamer bias. Streamers are influencers in the gaming industry, and as long as they have a platform, it probably won’t change any time soon.

    Streamers have the ability to influence the games we play. As of May 2019, the top streamers for World of Warcraft are Asmongold and Sodapoppin’. Every time I log onto Twitch both of them average about 20k viewers or more per streaming session.

    Twitch: Here I come!

    I’ve thought about streaming for years. So recently I decided to try to wade through the treacherous wilds of streaming because it looked like a great time. I wanted to relax and meet new people.

    As I’m just starting out, I must grow my channel. In time, I’m sure the community and fun will follow. The journey is an exciting and rewarding one. But, if I really want to be a successful on twitch, I should pick up Twitch for Dummies to get a head start. LOL!

    I hope you’ll join me in Azeroth and follow my channel. I’ll be streaming every Friday from 6 pm – 8 pm PST. Maybe I’ll hunt a few rares, or snag Oondasta for myself (that’s if I can catch the dinosaur alive).

    I’d like to remind you this blog is home. Your faction doesn’t matter, just come and say hi. If you find a typo, or if I committed the cardinal sin of incorrectly stating a lore fact or stat, please send me a message here: warcraftlover91@yahoo.com!
